Welcome to the Hoof, Someren, Netherlands
The 2026 World Assembly will be held at the “De Hoof” venue in Someren, near Eindhoven, in the south-east of the Netherlands. This site was formerly farming buildings, made up of three buildings for accommodation and meals on five hectares, surrounded by greenery. The plenary room has 500 seats and there are several rooms for workshops and various other types of infrastructure making up this unique venue.

Meeting in Nature
Our World Assembly will be held in Someren in a carefully renovated old farmhouse, set in lush green surroundings.
This unique venue is exclusively reserved for our meeting. Its blend of tranquillity, rural charm and wide open spaces lends itself to discussions and social events.

Emmaus in Netherlands
This is the first World assembly in the Netherlands, where Emmaus groups have been present since 1956, and the Dutch groups are keen to share their work with the whole Movement.
The twelve groups in the Netherlands are looking forward to welcoming you and showcasing the work they do at grassroots level.

Accomodation
Accommodation will largely be at the meeting venue in shared rooms with bunk beds. The bathrooms are also shared. If you have any specific needs, please feel free to let us know on the registration form.
We will try to fulfil your requests as much as possible. All rooms have sheets and towels. Toiletries (soap, shampoo, etc.) are not included.

Camping accomodation
Camping on site is also possible. If you would like to come in a van or caravan, you can park at one of the sites at the meeting venue. If you would like to stay in a tent, you can pitch your tent on one of the many grassy areas. If you would like to camp but are unable to bring your own gear, let us know soon and we will try to provide it. Please note any of the above cases on your registration form.

Arriving by plane
If you would like to book your own trip, we can organise your reception and transfer to the event from the airports in Amsterdam and Düsseldorf, for arrival between Sunday 12 and Monday 13 April, or from Paris (Charles de Gaulle) at night on 11 April or in the morning on 12 April with the group departure. Eindhoven also has an international airport, but it has limited flights and usually several connections are required. This option is not necessarily advised for long journeys.
Please share your itinerary as soon as possible (February at the latest) so that we can best organise your reception. If you arrive outside the organised reception days or to another airport, refer to the following section on how to make your own way to Someren.
